Effective December 1, 2015, the City of Cedar Park is under Stage Two Twice-Per-Week Mandatory Outdoor Watering Restrictions.
What does this mean?
Under Stage Two, outdoor irrigation with sprinklers to twice per week, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m., on your designated watering days:
- Residential customers with address ending in odd number: Wednesdays and Saturdays, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
- Residential customers with address ending in even number: Thursdays and Sundays, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
- Commercial customers: Tuesdays and Fridays, before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m.
Please note that watering times are before 10 a.m. and after 7 p.m. on your designated watering days. For example, if your watering days are on Wednesdays and Saturdays, you may water from 12:01 a.m.– 10 a.m. and from 7 p.m. – 11:59 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Any watering conducted outside of these times could result in a fine assessed to your utility bill.

Need to Report Water Waste?
If you'd like to report water waste in our community, please call the anonymous Water Conservation Hotline at 512.401.5308 or email firstname.lastname@example.org with details of the alleged water violator.
Only designated City Staff may issue citations for water waste. However, when waste is reported from the community, the alleged water violator will receive an educational postcard in the mail informing them of the watering schedule and that water waste has been reported on the property. If an alleged water violator continues to waste water, City Staff will begin additional patrol in the area until the issue is resolved.
Effective December 1, 2015, the City of Cedar Park returns to its regular water rates. More information on rates can be found here.
