The Cedar Park Community Development (Type B) Corporation is accepting applications for proposed projects and activities for consideration for Local Sales Tax funding for Fiscal Year 2014-2015 (Oct. 1, 2014 through Sept. 30, 2015). Applications from eligible organizations and entities will be received until 4:00 PM on Friday, May 30, 2014.
This application process does NOT apply to businesses interested in applying for funding consideration under the Corridor Enhancement Program.
Under state law, Sales Tax revenues may be used for activities and projects that fit at least one of the eligible project categories as set forth in state statute and identified in the approved ballot language. Refer to the Program Guidelines for a listing of eligible projects and activities.

The Community Development Corporation Board of Directors meets monthly on the Second Tuesday at 6:30 pm.
The Community Development Corporation Board consists of seven (7) directors appointed by City Council for staggered two year terms. Members of the Board shall be residents of the City of Cedar Park.
The Community Development Corporation Board oversees and makes recommendations to City Council regarding the programming and expenditure of funds related to community development projects as provided under authority of the Community Development Act of 1979, as amended. Funding for the Community Development Corporation was approved by the citizens of Cedar Park in an election held in May, 1999.
Mission Statement: The Mission of the Community Development Corporation is to utilize its resources to assist Cedar Park in reaching its economic and community goals to serve the best interests of its citizens and guests.
Time Commitment: The Board meets monthly. The meetings are held in the evening and are approximately 2-4 hours in duration. Additional time is required to read relevant reports and documentation. Special meetings with the City Council are scheduled on an as needed basis.
Term: Each Board Member serves a two-year, staggered term
Members: The Board is comprised of seven members appointed by the City Council. Members must be residents of the City of Cedar Park, and can be removed from the board at the will of Council.
